The Heavy-Duty Horizontal Band Sawmill is designed to efficiently convert large logs into uniform timber boards or slabs. The workflow summary is: 1. Log Load → 2. Clamp & Position → 3. Set Height → 4. Cut → 5. Return → 6. Repeat → 7. Unload Boards

1. Log Loading. Hydraulic log loading arms lift the heavy log from the ground onto the wood sawmill bed. On manual models, logs can be loaded using a forklift or log ramp.
2. Log Positioning & Clamping. The operator positions the log properly along the length of the bandsaw track. Hydraulic log clamps securely hold the log in place to prevent shifting during cutting.
3. Log Turning (If Required). For square or dimensional lumber, logs may need to be turned. The hydraulic log turner rotates the log easily for multi-sided cutting.
4. Saw Head Height Adjustment. The sawmill head moves vertically using a hydraulic or mechanical lift system. The operator sets the desired thickness for the first cut using the control panel or manual scale.
5. Cutting the Log. The bandsaw head travels horizontally along the track using a motorized or manual drive system. The high-tension band saw blade cuts through the log smoothly and accurately. Once the cut is complete, the saw head returns to its starting position.
6. Repeat Cutting. The bandsaw head is lowered to the next thickness level. The cutting process is repeated until the entire log is sawn into boards.
